TOMMY HILFIGER  X LEWIS HAMILTON Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection Divulged

American fashion label Tommy Hilfiger has released its latest Autumn/Winter 2018 collaboration with British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton. This collection will also be showcased at the experimental catwalk show in Shanghai, China. The four-time Formula One Champion, Hamilton who is a brand ambassador the brand's menswear line took inspiration from his street style aesthetics, his body art (Tattoos) and his lucky number 44 along with Tommy Hilfiger's iconic American style to create the AW 18 collection. The collection boost of bold colors from apparel to footwear, underwear, accessories to socks which will be available for purchase in 70 countries, Tommy's online store and stores right after the catwalk shows. 

The stand-out pieces in the collection includes the block-color bold block-color sweater with LH statement logo in red, black and white, the military green parka with detachable reversible liner, velvet navy greatcoat with naval gold colored buttons and lastly Hamilton's tattoo inspired white tracksuit with velvet taping on arm, leg seams and 'Loyalty' on the back. Another feature for the collaborative capsule is the Hamilton logo of Old English Gothic typeset and sky captain color, the same font used for his tattoo positioned with Tommy Hilfiger Iconic flag. 

The collection lets not forget is a partnership between Lewis Hamilton and Tommy which is an extension of the fashion brand 'Tommy Hilfiger' being named the official apparel partner for FORMULA ONE world champions Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsports. This means Tommy's logo is featured on everything Mercedes from the race car that Lewis Hamilton drives, clothing the drivers and the whole team, factory to office
