Tayo B is the “happy medium” between UK Urban music and American R&B Pop, demonstrated on his new single “Move With Me,” which has completely taken Rough Online away from the start of your typical English, Winter season to a romantic, “summer” island, and we don’t ever want to come back. Hehe. It is the masterful fusion of Reggaeton and Dance Hall rhythm and instrumentation that instantly gets your feet moving the second the beat drops in Move With Me’s opening, as well as the bright 80’s style, synth production, specifically his overuse of xylophone-esque keyboard sounds playing the radio-friendly, Pop chord struggle, an overall piece of music that is bound to get Tayo B the attention he deserves. However, let’s not forget those infectious steel pans in the bridge sections, as well as Tayo’s smooth, slick, confident vocals, which at times deliver a slight British twang on specific words, singing the hook “move with me, you ain’t losing me now.”
Bottom line is...it is a smooth, sensual track which will grab your attention from the get-go, with great high-pitched, “whistling” ad libs after the chorus sections, following the beat nicely, and an overall great use of instruments that we don’t hear that often on mainstream radio. Tayo...you have most definitely put a huge smile on Rough Online’s faces. There’s just one question for the talented, Leicester-based singer and songwriter...when’s the next release out? We are intrigued to hear what’s coming next...”Move With Me” is out now on all online stores.
