Polo's Actions Speaks Louder Than Words

Leeds trinity Polo have blessed us with their latest single Louder Than Words. And before 90s nostalgists get sentimental... No, it's not a remake of Extreme's chart-topper of the same name. No, rather than acoustic guitars, two-part harmony, and long flowing hair worthy of a Vidal Sassoon commercial; Polo has opted for a stripped but funky electro-pop sound. Theirs starts with a synth lead that ushers in a percussive four on the floor beat.

 The sound is crunchy, dynamic pop. The vibe is hip, urban swag. The result is all kinds of sexy cool. And as the refrain coos "I bet you know, I bet you know..." we certainly nod our heads in agreement. We do know. This is quite frankly the bee's knees on the dancefloor. Following up their 2017 single Zeitgeist with some spring-worthy fare, the Leeds band has notched another one in the win column. You will be jamming this one in your playlist.

 But that's not all folks. The band is hitting the road. With a fistful of tour dates on the horizon, fans and new acquaintances alike can get up close and personal with the group as they wind their way through York, Newcastle, Hull and other hotspots in April.
