The successor of Haider Ackermann
as the Artistic Director for the French Luxury brand Berluti after Haider exit last week is Kris Van Assche
as it was announced. The CEO of Berluti Antoine Arnault
said in a statement via instagram regarding his delight for the Belgian designer to be heading the position...''
I have known him for several years, have always admired his work at Dior Homme and I am looking forward to working with him.''
As the new Artistic Director Kris Van Assche will be in charge of the artistic designs for the brand's ready-to-wear and accessories such as shoes and leather goods.
“I have always wanted to build bridges between the savoir-faire, the heritage of a house and my clear-cut contemporary vision. Antoine Arnault spoke to me of his ambitions for Berluti and it is with great pleasure that I accept this new challenge which fits perfectly with my own will and vision,'' added Kris.
Kris will be showcasing his first collection for Berluti in January 2019 at Paris Fashion week. A collection everyone will be looking forward to.
