The NECTARS Invade UK

The American invasion is here. Well, did it ever really leave? The Nectars are a band hailing from New Jersey, with a sound that vibrates between punk frequencies and straight-ahead pop rock. We Will Run is the third single to be lifted from their album Sci-Fi Television. It's uplifting with its fast-paced drums, kicker distorted guitars and heavenly vocals. But if anything, it's a revelation that New Jersey acts remain a part of the ever-shifting musical equation. As a New Yorker myself, we pride ourselves on sharing with NJ the honor of discovering some of the biggest talents the planet's ever seen.

The Nectars are embarking on some goodwill ambassadorship with a UK tour slated to hit a slew of venues. And that tour promises to give fans and new acquaintances everything they should expect on the forthcoming debut album. The sound is bright, robust, and impassioned. There are no gimmicks attached. No scandals lying in wait just to promote a radio single. If anything, the quartet is a refreshing take on storytelling with a millennial bent.
