George Hill, a Bristol-based fresh-faced model signed to Oxygen model management
in London. ROUGH took to the studio again to capture this young model with striking features and good hair for its series of ''ROUGH YOUNG THING.''

ROUGH ONLINE: Can you tell the ROUGH ONLINE readers a bit about yourself?
GEORGE HILL: My Name is George Hill, I'm 22 and grew up in Brighton as well as in the South of Spain. I currently am living in Bristol, England. I've spent the majority of my life skateboarding and enjoying the culture with it.

ROUGH ONLINE: Has your love for skating which involves lots of movement helped you
any or form becoming a model?
GEORGE HILL: It definitely has helped me in staying fit, also it has taught me that having fun and being comfortable is the most important thing in life. Modelling and skateboarding share some similarities I think: style is the most important thing for both, it isn't what you are doing it's how you look doing it.
ROUGH ONLINE: What was the last book you read and what was it about?
GEORGE HILL: I read Slaughterhouse V by Kurt Vonnegutt which I liked because it's set in Germany in 1942 but it's kooky as the main character travels through time and experiences most important events in his life before they have actually happened, and has an interesting perspective on things in life.
ROUGH ONLINE: What does being a model especially a male model like yourself mean to you in this era?
GEORGE HILL: I think social media has really taken over and it's having an interesting and unique presence online that takes up most of your time now, fashion has changed and one style or trend doesn't dominate like it used to so, now people can have their own style or be part of a particular subculture. Just being yourself when you meet new people and enjoying the experiences in modelling is what matters most though.

ROUGH ONLINE: As being part of the 'ROUGH YOUNG THING' what would you say is your own definition of 'YOUNG?'
ROUGH ONLINE: My definition of 'YOUNG' is being aware of how the world is changing around you and being open-minded to changes to the status quo. Someone who is young at heart won't dismiss things they don't understand and is open-minded about everything from new sounding music and changes in fato changes in our society or political system
