Pop artist, singer and songwriter Menny aka Itzhak Amram has been honing creative craft his whole life, after realising he was a gifted drummer at a young age, he started to explore other instruments and came to love not just music but other creative outlets including songwriting and poetry. His rich backstory has made him a great storyteller and his latest release ‘Wings’ highlights this impressive talent. Nyhla Records is an independent record label created by artists for artists operating out of Vancouver, British Columbia, with teamwork, passion and support at the core of the company. To better represent Vancouver, where a frustrated generation of artists are being forced to move away due to rising housing prices and lack of support for the arts meaning the music scene has been hidden from the world for decades, Nyhla records was born off of the back of this frustration, building a roster of artists that don’t subscribe to one genre, and are instead connected by their passion. In the new vlog series hosted on Nyhla’s Youtube channel, their collaborative ethic and close-knit friendship is on display, and it’s hard not to fall in love and be inspired by it all.
