LOUIS GABRIEL NOUCHI Spring/Summer 2019 

Louis Gabriel Nouchi presents his spring/summer 2019 menswear collection with a religious connotation. Titled 'The Temple Of The Golden Pavilion' which referenced from a true World War 2 story of Monk who was so obsessed with beauty his temple that he burnt it down. The story makes one reflect or take a back seat and ponder about the notion of beauty in a world in crisis. With this collection, there is a mix of activewear which was created in collaboration with Damart, a French company which specialises in clothing hence bring sensitivity and functionality to the forefront. The large randomly placed flower motives aggravate a dramatic beauty like a shroud which embodies somehow the daily threat and intimidation around we face as humans in the world.
