The role Olivier Lapidus as the artistic director of Lavin is now confirmed following or after hearing the news that Bouchra Jarrar after two collection has stepped down from her duties. It is known that Lapidus appointment is not the only expected change taking place for the fashion house. Reports from reliable sources states that the 'House' will be relocating from it's Boissy d'Anglas HQ to a premises in a more Suburban area of the North West Paris.
"I welcome Olivier Lapidus as Lanvin artistic director whose creative capacity is in direct line with the elegance embodied by Jeanne Lanvin," said Madame Shaw-Lan Wang, president of Lanvin. "His broad understanding of the universe of this house, of the world of fashion and design and his resolutely modern approach will bring Lanvin towards new horizons."
