LCMDF: Thank you! It came to life as I was going through a short period of serial dating and tinder-discovery. I felt like there still was a kind of conservative idea in the back of my head of needing to find a prince on a white horse and live happily ever after, so I came up with a mantra: I don't know you, don't even wanna know you. Band member Mia walked into the room and sang super loudly: THANK GOD I DIDN'T GET TO KNOW YOU AT ALL. And that's how the song came to life really. All of our songs are a result of bouncing ideas back and forth between us two.
LCMDF: In 'Thank god I didn't get to know you at all' we wanted to have the most cheerful happy chorus and eurodance (especially swedish 90s eurodance hits) inspired us a lot. It's a bit of a tongue in cheek, ironic take on indie-dance.
LCMDF: As writers we've matured a bit since Love and Nature, without losing the punk and riot we will always carry with us. The album might sound like a compilation of happy indie dance songs, but the story behind it is much more than that, it really shapes the way you listen to the album. We shared the story behind the album making process and the lyrics on our facebook page via the following link https://www.facebook.com/notes/lcmdf/im-not-a-robot-my-personal-story-of-how-sad-bangers-came-to-life/10154962484142168/
LCMDF: Thank you! We've been super inspired by Justice, the Strokes, 00s bloghaus era, The Dude from Big Lebovsky and Kim Wilde in the 80s. It's a kind of androgynous look combining classic pieces with over the top rock-aeshtetics and big hair.
