She is one fashion's favorite person on the scene right now and it seems things keep getting better for this bigger than life artist, Cardi B as she signs a deal with sportswear giant Reebok where she will be promoting the brand's Aztrek trainers with the 1990s style and silhouette. Apart from that, the rapper will also be promoting some Reeboks apparel to her global fans.
Reebok president Matthew O'Toole released a statement regarding the deal...''For us, she really is emblematic of what our brand has done well over the years and that is to be bold, provocative and uninhibited. If we look at some of the things we’ve done with Allen Iverson or being the first to sign musicians, or more recently with Kerby [Jean-Raymond] of Pyer Moss when we are at our best we are with people who are comfortable living out loud and Cardi fits that.”
It is envisaged Cardi B might take this partnership to the next level and it might be a case of seeing her going down the same route as Rihanna with Puma. Time couldn't have been so perfect for Reebok to tap into Cardi B's popularity as the brand has been very successful with selling the women's product through their marketing strategy by using celebrities as brand ambassadors such as American model Gigi Hadid, actor Gal Gadot and singer Ariana Grande.
Let's just say this isn't Cardi B's first partnership up when it comes to fashion, her latest upcoming collaboration is out on the 15th November is with Fashion Nova and she collaborated with Tom Ford and Steve Madden.
