Animal Fur Banished By Designers At London Fashion Week

The message 'No Fur usage' one would say has hit home this time by animal rights groups who demonstrated and chanted slogans ...'YOU HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS' & 'SHAME ON YOU LONDON FASHION WEEK'' at the event venue back in February. As a result, no animal fur will be seen on the runway this coming London Fashion Week which kicks off on the 13th of September. This also follows an announcement by British Fashion Council (BFC) regarding a survey of attitudes conducted by major designers which the resulted stated "a cultural change based on ideals and choices made by designer businesses, international brands as well as consumer sentiment'. This announcement has led Burberry to decide not using real fur and Angora rabbit hair in any of its clothing line. The news has led to activist group (PETA) People for the Ethical Treatment to congratulate designers for not using fur at this season's London Fashion Week via social media.
