Wu-Tang Clan
is definitely a name that has much glut across broad when it comes to music and fashion. The Group from the East Coast are very much relevant and going strong with everything from their clothing line 'Wu Wear' to their video games which can get you hooked for sure. Now, the Clan has ventured into new territory and teamed up with
Milk Makeup
to create a new lipstick which is trending right now.
The whole inspiration for the lipstick is derived of course from the kung fu culture and the feminine yin energy. The thought behind design noted by
RZA
who part of the group is to ''inspire the wisdom, beauty, and strength of today's modern warriors.''
Wu-Tang and Milk Makeup enlist Teyana Taylor to spearhead the ad campaign and in so doing kept with the theme of female pathfinders or trailblazers. RZA composes an original soundtrack to the samurai-inspired campaign where Taylor displays her kung-fu and sword fight techniques.
The new lipstick collection are eight in total, named after the Ching Trigrams and includes scared Chinese ingredients. Each lipstick encased in a solid black bullet. A gold dragon is wrapped around the lipstick itself while the outer packaging includes Wu-Tang's "W''. A unique symbol that meshes Milk Makeup's logo with the Chinese symbol for beauty.
