Well, let us just say new changes are going to be happening with Woolrich, as the brand has had its majority share purchased by
L-GAM
a Luxembourg-based investment company. Some of the changes being implemented are the logo which is being designed by Pentagram, and the aesthetics of the brand. Woolrich has also hired Rihanna's stylist
Mel Ottenberg
as a consultant who will be working on the brand next season.
“What we are going to do in the future is to be a little bit more American that we’ve been in the past because we feel that that is our DNA and that is what we need to bring back.' stated
Andrea Cane, Creative Director of Woolrich.
The present spring/summer 2019 collection presented at Milan fashion week had lots of feminine style with European attributes and this could be seen from the windbreakers which came in various shades of pink. The collaboration with Griffin, a British design studio which is in its second chapter also was showcased with functions such as the detachable sleeves and fishtail parka.
