After a sold out tour with Tom Walker
at the close of 2017, UK trio TORS
re-emerge with their latest single We Say No. It's an unflinching look back in the mirror at depression for brothers Theo and Matt Whedon. The sound is fast, thrilling, yet bittersweet. And certainly, people will hear vocal similarities to Coldplay and Imagine Dragons.
But musically, the sound is humbly robust and organic. And that's essentially where those previous comparisons dissipate. These are the guys from around the way, who've suffered like we all have. And We Say No, with its triumphant refrain, thumping drums, and twanging guitars, is every bit of all of us listening to its guns a blazing roar through verse and stanza.
They've already carved a niche out for themselves as solid songwriters for a number of other staples on the music scene. And their own successful tour speaks volumes to how worthy and credible their songbook is. We Say No is the second single to be lifted from their Wilder Days EP. Have a listen to this ruby of a gem We Say No here first.
