ROUGH ONLINE had the pleasure of seeing British Country-Pop singer and songwriter Amy Lawton deliver a superb performance of recent singles "Undone" and "Hurts Like Paradise" as well as more of her heartfelt, biographical songs, a beautiful portfolio of material she has been building up since she was a secondary school English Rose. Earlier this month, Camden's Lock Tavern got to hear her musically tight band showcase a Folk-influenced sound reminiscent of Lisa Loeb and The Wreckers, as well as witness the singer's genuinely modest, shy and sometimes modest personality in action, as if the audience were watching a new Liz Phair on stage.
