PHOTOGRAPHER DUO MERT & MARCUS TO BE HONORED AT THE FASHION AWARDS

 It has been announced by the British Fashion Council that talented photographers Mert and Marcus will be honored at this year's Fashion Awards 2018. The awards which is held in partnership with Swarovski will take place on the 10th of December at the Royal Albert Hall London venue. The Isabella Blow Award is what is being awarded to Mert & Marcus on the night. The award celebrates innovators and creatives in the fashion industry especially those who have had so much input in shaping what the industry it is today. Past honoree has been the present Editor-In-Chief of Vogue UK, Edward Enniful, Nick Knight, Pat McGrath and more. The two come as a pair and have worked together since 1994 and are frequently described ''one of the names to define the birth of digital fashion photography.' With their distinctive trademark photography images which have gone on to alleviate most high-end fashion brands.

“We are thrilled to present the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator to Mert and Marcus and acknowledge them for their remarkable contribution to the global fashion industry,” BFC chief executive Caroline Rush said in a statement. “Mert and Marcus have a unique way of portraying glamour, youth and fantasy, making them one of the forces of our industry.”
