'maha Boro' | Capsule Collection

London based brand maharishi
has divulged in a new capsule collection for this Spring/Summer which is Japanese inspired. The collection is titled 'maha Boro'
and the term 'Boro
is a technique used by island dwellers of Honshu who so often used layers of hemp to produce pieces. In others word the collection can be described as having been influenced by traditional Japanese practices of reusing textiles materials through piecing, patching and stitching.
The above-mentioned technique is used throughout the collection and this can be seen from the patchwork of stitching and piecing together. The 'maha Boro' capsule collection comes in black, white and Mil Olive colourways with some standout pieces such as MA-65 Kimono, the collarless shirt and MA-65 Cargo Pant, with staple crewneck sweatshirts and T-shirt
