Just Loud Releases Incredible Debut Single 'Electrified'

ROUGH ONLINE is obsessed with “Electrified” by the extremely talented Just Loud, so much that we are already craving to hear more and cannot wait for the release of his upcoming debut E.P “Episode 1.” As soon as you hear the strumming on that muted electric guitar, reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” and that catchy Sci-Fi synth melody in its’ introduction that takes us back to the 80’s influenced sound of The Killers, you know you’re in for a long-awaited Electro Pop-Rock treat, just when this genre of music was becoming boring and complacent. You are instantly captivated by the verses’ melody and chord structure, the same way that Cedric Gervais’s remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” won us over with its’ bittersweet energy.

Listening to songs like “Electrified,” restores any faith that we ever lost in music, as you become content with Just Loud’s Jermaine Stewart-esque soft, slick, polished vocal, and anticipate one of the strongest choruses you will hear this year. Just Loud created the best introduction of a brand new music artist I have seen and listened to in years when he wrote this amazing banger, and he has ensured that his presence is known to all, even by the release of the song’s visually striking official music video.

Directed by MAX and Ben Guzman, the music video is set in two different worlds: “The Vintage” and “The Futuristic.” This unique concept is brought to you in the context of Just Loud dressed in a smart, floral suit jacket, looking very moody yet debonair, performing with his band in a forest while fuzzy, film dust lines appear on the screen, fused with footage of the singer throwing shapes, in a stylish, fashionably current ensemble, with his band members in a colourfully lit room which looks like a space shuttle. This cross between Diva-esque and Alpha Male compliments the characteristics of his music perfectly, as we listen to throwback keyboard sounds with futuristic distorted vocal production.

Rest assured, you will not forget “Electrified” after the first listen. You will most definitely be hooked and trust me Ladies & Gentleman, this man is going to be huge. Comparing him with all male singers out there at the moment, who are either releasing Acoustic Pop or Soul, along comes Just Loud with a fresh, unique sound, showcasing catchy, alternative, Synth Pop-Rock which is bound to get everyone’s attention and deserves critical acclaim.
