It is fair to state that Human is one of the most diverse recording artists out there right now, evident on his new Double A-side effort which showcases the synth-tastic “Being” and the Gospel-influenced Hip-Hop track “Together.” Taking into account previously released songs “Higher” and “Ghost,” we definitely haven’t had an experimental pop songwriter jump onto the scene this credible since Labrinth. If you were an 80’s kid dancing around to Cyndi Lauper’s “She Bop” or Madonna’s “Til’ Death Do Us Part” then the keyboard sounds of “Being” should sound very familiar to you, whilst this dance banger also takes on a naughtie’s electro-production vibe, reminiscent of Frankmusik’s Dance-Pop sound and early Diana Vickers’ songs like “Remake Me and You.” His clean, slick vocal tone, similar to the late George Michael specifically when he revealed his experimental, Electro side with the likes of “Freeek,” gets us raising our hands in the air as Human turns up the music from the bridge to the chorus, where he brings about the social message of feeling like a misfit with deep lyrics “sometimes I feel like an alien but tonight, tonight, I’m just a human being, being human” sung at the top of his lungs so everyone in the club can hear him loud and clear.

With a similar production vibe to his previous song “Robot,” the uplifting “Tomorrow” is ROUGH ONLINE’s favourite track of Human’s to-date, for its Macklemore-style rap, and a gospel-influenced chorus which will have you singing along to the emotionally deep lyrics “I want you to be the death of me, cause’ I don’t know a thing about love,” which touches you so much you’ll be smiling away to how beautiful the sentiment of the song is. Its’ memorable hook and unique Pop production, opening with a great piano solo which takes you straight to church, a mid-tempo Electro beat which incorporates a less tinny-sounding Clave as the snare, and organ-like keyboard sounds, has chart success written all over it, and deserves immediate, mainstream radio attention. It is a song that, with its’ heartfelt message of love, is sure to bring people together. The question on ROUGH’s lips is what will Human’s debut album musically capture, after releasing such a diverse portfolio of great songs?

By the looks of things Human definitely does not want to be seen as complacent, but as a creative, diverse, fearless music artist, which ROUGH are very enthused and excited by. Watch this space for more awesome tracks by this talented singer and songwriter.
