GRAMMY-NOMINATED PRODUCER DAN LANCASTER RELEASES DEBUT SOLO TRACK 

ROUGH ONLINE would like to start off by saying that Dan Lancaster’s sound stands out from the majority of music out there currently, specifically in the mainstream, commercial world of the industry, so much that you will seriously be left breathless from his masterful production skills featuring the perfect use of stunning, atmospheric, traditional “Ibiza Dance” synths fused with Industrial-esque keyboard sounds and bright, reverb, distorted Electric rhythm guitars, on top of a top-notch bass line and a fast-tempo 80’s influenced drum kit, all together making it one of the best Electro, Pop-Rock bangers of the year. It is no wonder with music production this skilfully accomplished that Lancaster has previously worked with music acts like Avril Lavigne and Blink 182, and here are just a few of the things to look forward to before giving “Move A Mountain” a listen.

Firstly, although similar phrasing to the late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington can be heard occasionally throughout one of ROUGH ONLINE’s favourite singles of the year, overall Lancaster’s voice is incomparable. Rest assured that his strong, passionate vocals will stay in your mind’s eye long after the first listen, and will excite you so much that you will want to repeat “Move A Mountain” straight away, especially due to the infectious impact his singing has during the song’s finale, where he quite frankly just explodes vocally in a significant burst of angst-ridden emotion he has obviously held inside the pit of stomach for way too long…and the result is jaw-dropping. And let us not forget about Move A Mountain’s memorable chorus, which you will find yourself throwing shapes to in no time. It’s fair to say that it would be an injustice not to see Dan Lancaster’s name in the Indie Charts right now, specifically with this musically inspiring track which, although contains much mainstream appeal, also delivers an obvious darkness via its’ emotional vocal performance and minor to major chord structure bringing on an undertone of sadness.
