Feel Freeze are most definitely eye-grabbing, with their theatrical and eccentric visuals, of the duo wearing colourful, glittery make-up, dressed in futuristic-style ensembles, one of which consists of an unusual, purple cloak, while performing their new single “Let Go” to the camera, and a contemporary dancer follows the music beautifully, all in their captivating, new music video. However, after reading about these weird, alternative visuals, you would expect the duo to be performing new wave Punk, or even Witchcore. To everyone’s surprise, the duo are talented Synth-Pop musicians, with great voices, giving them a place alongside other notable Electro acts who deliver soft, emotional vocals over catchy hooks, like Dead Ceremony.
“Let Go” opens with a dramatically performed piano, playing an overly arpeggiated chord structure, which soon enough leads us into an awesome chorus section where the duo’s vocals deliver the utmost brightness, an overall sound very reminiscent to fellow Synth duo Hurts, famous for hit singles such as “Wonderful Life” and “Stay.” The middle 8 section, with its’ overlapping, space-like keyboard sound played above the infectious bass line will for sure send you into a trance, and the beat will throw you instantly into TGIF mode. Denmark’s new Dance duo have recently released their album “Feathers & Scars,” via Icons Creating Evil Art, which features the single “Let Go,” and we highly recommend you check it out.
