It's hot. Oh, it's so hot. And no, we are not talking about the last heat wave, though it was so hot, even Hell called Technical Support... no, we are talking about the hottest collab of this summer (which is hotter than Hell, by the way...) – JW Anderson x Converse. During his presentation at the Menswear SS18 show at Pitti Uomo in Florence, Anderson has unveiled his brilliant – literally - sneaker designs from his collaboration with the all-time fav, the iconic sneaker with a cult-like status, Converse. Yup, the JWA models were the epitome of cool and sparkle strutting on the catwalk wearing the new All-Stars, spreading sunshine all around.
Well, the talented and innovative Mr. Anderson is no stranger to collabs. Only last March he got into bed with a well-matched Uniqlo - a match made of heaven, mind you...

The new All-Stars fav is a unisex sneakers line, in the iconic Converse style, offering a wide range of vibrant, bold colors, jazzed up with embellishments, sequins and shine. This new collaboration is inspired by the Converses Anderson has loved to wear over the years: "From my very first pair, Converse have represented such a radical movement in style and culture. The contrasts and similarities between the world of Converse and the world of J.W. Anderson creates a space of culture tension that's a dream to play within as a designer". Well, no arguing there... the models at the Pitti Uomo show looked like they were born with these dazzling shoes on their feet. It was the natural extension of the JWA lifestyle, mood and persona.
The J.W. Anderson x Converse collection will become available this Fall. We're expecting they will practically disappear from the stores as soon as the white All-Star soles will touch the shelves so be sure to follow up and be there when that happens. You snooze, you lose. Yeah, yeah, 80's and all that jazz...
