Fuck you if you have no empathy, no humility, no drive and no self-awareness. If you adopt the latest outrage on social media then fuck you for your lack of depth and willingness to commit to whatever morals you may have. For your transient tears that change nothing and for your inconsequential  existence. Fuck you if you use “political correctness” or “freedom of speech” as a defence for the public display of your inner vileness, a cesspit best left untapped. These are not inviolate shields allowing you freedom to attack anyone – or anything – you like.

Fuck you if you jump on bandwagons without checking the facts behind them, just because they happen to chime with your own world view. It is not your inalienable right to regurgitate poisonous misinformation whilst leaving others to find the flaws. If you vilify the sick, the poor, the less able then fuck you. If you expect reward without effort then fuck you too. For turning yourself into a weapon to be used against the genuinely needy, against those who are less able to defend themselves.

Fuck you if you blindly follow your political leaders, of any hue, down their paths without question. If you swallow their lies, pass on their rhetoric as an unquestionable truth and ignore their faults just because they are “your team”. Fuck you if you do not hold them to account. Fuck you if you vapidly buy into the mainstream media’s corrupted outpourings and repeat them as if they were your own. In a time when they have never been so partisan, and the ability to check various alternative sources so easy then this is unforgivable. If you are willing to be led by crass propaganda promulgated by the wealthy elite – then fuck you.

Fuck you if you meet a fellow human being’s desperation with cold-hearted indifference, if you ignore the despair that leads to mass migration. Fuck you if you dehumanise those who die to salve your own black conscience, if you would condemn someone to a watery grave rather than trying to help. Fuck you if you assume it is racial intolerance that lies behind worries about these issues. Rapid change will undoubtedly cause anxiety and fear. All need to be considered so fuck you if you see this as the opportunity for sanctimoniously grabbing the moral high ground.

Fuck you if you would oppress another’s right to peacefully follow their religion or maintain a link with their cultural past because you somehow believe your own is better. If you excuse it by once more raising the spectre of terrorism or if you cannot intellectualise your opposition to change then fuck you. There are fundamental rights and wrongs that stray through muddied borders but if you believe your way of living is superior merely because it is the one you were brought up in, then fuck you. If you do not question your own position, if you do not yearn to push forwards.

Fuck you if you use Islamic radicalisation as an excuse to air your bigotry, if you condemn all for the actions of a few. Fuck you too if you pervert a religion and use it to lead your followers – the gullible - into acts of atrocity. If you rail against the fundamentalists of one religion and not another, if you aid the terrorist by spreading fear on the flimsiest of pretexts then fuck you. If you revel in your own construct of danger, and spread it as a malicious cancer targeting all those who are different to you.

Fuck you if you evoke the sacrifice of your ancestors in war for your own personal agenda. If you cheapen their sacrifice though this or blithely call for others to follow them from the safety of your computer. Fuck you for seeing your lack of accountability or influence as a green light to hold other people’s lives so cheaply. If you think we should intervene in foreign wars because we have some kind of moral superiority then fuck you. If you think we should not get involved in foreign wars because you are morally disconnected then fuck you as well.
