Swedish chanteuse Constine has enraptured us with her latest dark gem called DIE. From the forthcoming EP, Die offers a darkly melodious mix of pop and electronic nuances. It's a midtempo affair that gnaws at the skin ravenously.
She coos "...but I'd die for you..." between synths that wah wah and percussive beats that serve as warping conduits between lilting verse and impassioned chorus. This is the kind of tune we expect to hear in the soundtrack of a killer Netflix series, or during the opening crawl of a blockbuster thriller. It's nothing short of visual Xanax. And we're hooked.
For her part, Constine will be rolling out the new EP in the weeks to come. But while your musical taste buds begin to salivate, you can tide that appetite with your first listen here.
