'Boy De Chanel''
is a brand new Make-Up line for MEN being launched by Chanel. It's the new world order coming into focus. The era of beauty has no gender. The line will debut first in South Korea on 1st September before it goes globally. The ''Boy De Chanel'' is made up of eyebrow pencil, a foundation and a matte lip balm. The man chosen to be the face of the campaign is Korean actor Lee Don-Wook. Currently, the collection has four shades of brow pencil which includes grey and four foundations. Hopefully, more shades will be added once it hits globally. Finger crossed on that one.
“By creating Boy de Chanel, its first makeup line for men, Chanel reaffirms the ever-changing codes of an unchanging vision: Beauty is not a matter of gender, it is a matter of style. Just as Gabrielle Chanel borrowed elements from the men’s wardrobe to dress women, Chanel draws inspiration from the women’s world to write the vocabulary of a new personal aesthetic for men. Lines, colours, attitudes, gestures… There is no absolutely feminine or masculine prerequisite: Style alone defines the person we wish to be.”
