Boerd Smashes Through The Fragments

Swedish bassist and all around musical wonderboy boerd has offered something truly heartfelt to the masses. His newest single Fragment II, while bristling with nuance and electronic whimsy, sparkles from its approach to social commentary. Infused with the uptempo 2 step beat, searching keys, and ambient noise, are the voiceovers of children. Fragment II gets right to the heart of poverty straight from the mouths of babes.

If nothing, the single plunges the listener into a heightened listening experience. Yes, we can jam this tune on a dancefloor, in a gallery setting, in the office. But there is something to be said about music that potently mixes production with social awareness. Who knew?
