Spanish womenswear designer Berta Cabestany
takes inspiration from her summer home in Menorca for her resort 2019 collection. The collection is about taking the wearer on a journey through an idyllic sojourn in one of Spain’s Balearic islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Standout features in the collection are the embroideries of lighthouse, crabs and horses on the pieces which embody the Spanish tradition of 'jaleo' derived from the phrase 'Ara Va de bo' which is a Spanish song played in Menorca villages.
