Berta Cabestany A/W '18 Lookbook 'YOUGETHER'

BERTA CABESTANY, for those who didn't  know  is tipped to be 'The One To Watch' as an up and coming womenswear brand. This is her second collection  titled 'YOUGETHER' which sees a continuation of themes from the previous collection. It is worthy of notice tha Berta Cabestany is a  Barcelonian fashion label blends traditional Catalan craftsmanship and heritage with the fresh and optimistic spirit of the millennial generation. Her innovation and unexpected use of material in  her designs process shows that using embellishment and embroidery can work for everyone and can be used in an everyday life. 

The use of colour in this collection takes a prominent space, this time with a core of navy and dark salmon pieces that reflect the season. The introduction of bright salmon shades, champagne and grey pieces alongside the return of od sky blue and white from S/S'18 adds a breath and depth to the collection. The addition of playful accessories to the lookbook, inspired by Anderson's film portfolio, brings Berta's youthful nature and playful charm to the forefront. The fusion of red beanies is a reminiscent of 'Life Aquatic' and champagne turban embodies  the spirit that evoke the 'Grand Budapest Hotel.'
