Ever wondered what it would vocally sound like if Bruno Mars, Olly Murs and The Weekend got together to form a Soul Pop band? ROUGH ONLINE would like to introduce you to singer and songwriter Amir, a cheeky chappy-type with a traditional, radio-friendly Pop vocal tone who wants to put a smile on your face stretched from ear to ear with the help of his classic, funky, feel-good, urban sound we heard previously on songs like “No One Else,” now showcased on his newest single “Feel For You.” Let’s just put it this way…you will be hooked on his infectious, memorable melody and pitch-perfect voice from the second the track drops, and from watching Feel For You’s official music video, you will without a doubt find Amir’s sass, confidence and his slick vocal performance so endearing and that you will find yourself throwing shapes around your house the same way the singer does to the camera, while Amir looks all dapper and dressed for the summer, as well as having a smile that quite simply lights up the room. 

The piano chord structure performed in the bridge section throws you back to Bobby Brown’s 1994 smash hit single “Two Can Play That Game,” and if that wasn’t enough to get your ass onto that dancefloor the trumpets that drop in Feel For You’s catchy chorus section sure will, alongside some skilfully played, funky, closed, electric rhythm guitar chords. “Feel For You” is also the best showcase of Amir’s vocal range to date, specifically in the second chorus when he reaches his higher register solely in chest voice which Rough Online are very impressive by, as well as ad-libs sung in his lower register during the song’s finale, very reminiscent of Craig David’s melodic style. And just to finish up a masterful piece of Pop music production, an overlapping synth is thrown into the middle 8 section, similar to the captivating sound of Robyn’s 2007 UK hit single “With Every Heartbeat.” Overall, it’s fair to say that Amir has won us over with his fun-loving, uplifting Funky Pop sound and ROUGH ONLINE look forward to hearing more from this up and coming, star-in-the-making.
