Alexander McQueen
is mixing things up by not showing its menswear collection at the upcoming Paris Men's Fashion Week. The brand is sticking to doing more intimate shows in London instead. Let's not forget this is not a new decision as in the past before assigning to Paris Men's Fashion Week, the House showed their men's collection by private appointments both in London and Milan.
The House released a statement regarding their decision “Intrinsically connected to the bespoke tailoring heritage of Alexander McQueen men’s wear, these events will be central to the evolution of the house’s commitment to the championing of creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation,”
Alexander McQueen isn't the only brand missing the Paris men's Fashion Week, Lavin and Maison Margiela are also taking a break from showing. Well, let's not lose hope as there are some major brands still headlining. Celine menswear by fashion genius Hedi Slimane is on the cards, a show most of us are looking to forward to. Once again, there is still hope for Paris Men's Fashion Week.
