American footwear and clothing designer Ronnie Fieg
under his label 'Kith' has teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger
to release an upcoming line which he offers a sneak preview. The inspiration linked to the new collaboration is based on a letter he personally wrote to Hilfiger at the age of 15. The items designed pays homage to the iconic looks created by the Tommy Hilger back in the 1990s.The collection includes pieces such as jackets, denim, underwear and footwear.
“This is not about inspiration. This means so much more. This is for the 15-year old me. This is for my friends and I wearing Tommy in 1996 thinking we had no worries in life. This is for Queens. This is for anyone who has a dream that seems impossible to reach. Getting chills officially typing this but…Kith x Tommy Hilfiger FW18 coming soon.”- A statement by Ronnie Fieg which he divulged on social media.
The said date of the collection release is yet to be announced.
